According to Aglatech14 Managing Director Anna Puleo, assets transferred include goodwill, translation memories and termbases, client and external collaborator databases, selected operational assets, and the assignment of contracts related to the transferred activities, where applicable. One employee also transferred as part of the transaction. Real estate and registered movable assets were excluded.
The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
Puleo said that Centrolingue will continue to operate as a separate legal entity under a different business classification. Its owner will remain involved for a limited transition period, supporting the technical and administrative handover of the transferred business unit.
Founded in Padua, Centrolingue has provided translation, interpreting, and language training services, with a client base that includes public institutions, universities, artistic and cultural organizations, and private-sector companies, primarily in Northeast Italy (the Triveneto region).
Aglatech14 said the acquisition expands its service offering in institutional and cultural language services and strengthens its regional presence in Northeast Italy. Puleo added that the transaction supports the company’s broader strategy of positioning Aglatech14 as “a reference partner for organizations operating internationally.”
The deal follows a period of expansion for Aglatech14. In 2025, the company opened its first international office in Germany.
“The acquisition of Centrolingue, together with the opening of our German subsidiary, fits into this broader strategy of strengthening Aglatech14’s role as a trusted language services partner in the Italian and European markets,” Puleo said.
In 2026, Aglatech14 plans to focus on organic growth and on integrating its recent investments — the Centrolingue acquisition and German operation — with the objective of maximizing returns and building a foundation for evaluating further growth opportunities from 2027 onwards, Puleo said.
