Italian-based language services provider (LSP) Aglatech14 announced the appointment of Anna Puleo to the post of Managing Director. Puleo’s transition began in April 2024, after the passing of Founder and long-time CEO, Giacomo Grassi.
Puleo joined Aglatech14 in 2020 as a Business Controller. Reflecting on her decision to join the company back then, she told Slator that she “saw the possibility of helping the company navigate the uncertainties of the pandemic while laying the groundwork for its future growth.” She added that since that time her role has evolved significantly.
The new CEO also spearheads an ambitious expansion strategy that includes steering Aglatech14 for expansion beyond its core competencies in regulated industries and patent translation. The latter earned the ISO-certified company a contract with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
