The organization is seeking professionals in four service areas:
- both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting services for either in-person or virtual availability
- translation, transcription, and editing services for multiple document types
- “localization and cultural adaptation”
- consulting services, which should include “support for building multilingual resources”
The RFP is specifically aimed at providers offering their services for Arabic, Filipino/Tagalog, French, and Latin American Spanish.
Both agencies and individual linguists are eligible to apply, with potential for the final contract award to be split between multiple selected proposals.
The organization plans for the contracted work to occur on an “as needed basis,” with an initial one-year contract that has the potential for renewal for four additional consecutive years.
However, it should be noted that the RFP description specifically states, “This RFP does not obligate Global Fund for Women to award a contract.”
The RFP listing asks respondents to limit proposals to five pages, not including CVs and required forms, with a breakdown of submission requirements linked as a PDF.
