Anna is today Slator’s Head of Research. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Sydney.

Olena Azanova is a Localization Team Lead at Ajax Systems, where she manages an in-house team of linguists and localization specialists. With over 10 years of experience as a German and English translator and 5 years in localization management and leadership roles, she specializes in building scalable localization processes and leading multilingual teams.

Andy Andersen is an international product growth strategist who specializes in building scalable solutions for global enterprise organizations. His work centers on applying a multi-market lens to product-led growth frameworks that help inform and align product discovery and drive sustainable adoption. Having led localization and growth efforts across 100+ languages, he often leverages ASO, SEO and AEO as core growth channels, while developing products to expand across markets and languages. Andy has been increasingly exploring how AI can augment the work of international PMs and language teams while keeping cultural nuance and human judgment at the center.

Alex has 10+ years experience in the Translation and Localization industry, primarily in pre-sales functions (bid management and consultancy), with roles such as Solution Architect, Team Lead – Bid Management, Project and Production Manager.

Bryan has 20+ years of experience in sales, business development, and leading high performing teams as a technology entrepreneur. Prior to his time leading Boostlingo, Bryan Co-Founded and led Anchor, Inc. which was acquired by eFolder (Now Axcient) in 2012. In addition to Co-Founding several technology startups, Bryan has held multiple leadership positions in Sales and Marketing in technology companies such as Sonicwall, eFolder and Quest Software. Bryan is passionate about technology innovation that helps break down communication barriers. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.

Brian has 20+ years of experience in engineering and product development, holding leadership positions in various companies such as BoostOptix and Polaris Management Partners. Since co-founding Boostlingo, he has led the development and launch of multiple product lines, driven the company’s AI strategy, and played a key role in expanding Boostlingo’s footprint in the healthcare, legal, and enterprise markets.

James is responsible for the commercial strategy behind SimplyAI’s white-label, multi-tenanted, multilingual Voice AI platform. The platform enables service providers and technology partners to deploy ultra-low latency Voice AI across telephony, websites and messaging channels at scale.

His focus is on strengthening the partner ecosystem, refining go-to-market execution, and ensuring SimplyAI’s infrastructure translates into sustainable revenue opportunities for those who build on it.

By aligning product capability with real-world commercial use cases, James supports the continued expansion of SimplyAI’s Voice AI platform across new sectors and markets.

Samuel Adekunle is the Founder of BimpeAI, where he builds voice and multi-channel agents that connect directly to business systems and drive revenue.

He focuses on practical deployment, moving beyond AI demos to agents that handle bookings, payments, customer support, and order management in production. His work spans voice infrastructure, system integrations, and real-time orchestration.

Based in London, Samuel is also active in the startup ecosystem, supporting founders and developers building AI-first products.

Michael, founder of Wec.ai, has navigated 15 years in the IT industry. He expanded into multiple roles across diverse projects worldwide. As a key architect, he shaped major banking platforms in the US and Europe, while also being pivotal to the Middle East’s border management e-visa program. In the last two years, Michael launched Wec.ai, specializing in Voice AI. Under his leadership, the company is now a major player in the UK & EU having handled around a million calls last year. Michael’s passion for cutting-edge voice technology continues to shape his vision for the future of conversational AI.

Silvia Terribile is a Research & Community Specialist at Slator, where she contributes to Slator conferences, events, and research coverage on language AI. She holds a PhD in Translation Studies from the University of Manchester, where she investigated productivity in the post-editing of neural machine translation in partnership with Toppan Digital Language. She has been teaching translation technologies at the Universities of Sheffield, Manchester, and Roehampton. She has previously worked on localization at Hogarth Worldwide and Turner Broadcasting System.

Dr. Monica Lakhwani is the Language Access Coordinator for Louisville Metro Government’s Office for Immigrant Affairs, where she leads initiatives to strengthen translation and interpretation services and expand multilingual access for the community. An active member of the Municipal Language Access Network, she brings extensive experience in cross‑cultural communication, education, and program development.
A National Diversity Council Certified Professional, Dr. Lakhwani also teaches Humanities and English at Jefferson Community & Technical College.

She holds degrees in psychology, education, counseling, and a doctorate in leadership from Spalding University with a focus on cross‑cultural studies. A Fulbright alum to the Philippines and Vietnam, she contributes to the STAR Scholars Transnational Network and serves on the senior review board of the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Education.

Her board service includes Asia Institute–Crane House, the Kentucky/Indiana Fulbright Chapter, the Kentucky United Nations Association, and KYTESOL. Her work centers on language accessibility, cultural engagement, and equitable program design.

Pablo Lloreda guides brands through the complexities of global growth by building customized pipelines to connect content origination with the end user in their own language.

With 20 years of experience across tech, streaming, and videogames; he specializes in designing, building, and leading, exception-based L10N and A11Y ecosystems. Known for creative problem-solving and systems harmonization, he believes in global experiences as a multi-disciplinary bridge to solve product delivery. Outside of work, Pablo is an advocate for financial education and youth mentorship and can usually be found around motorcycles and cameras.

Language quality & localization expert with 20+ years of experience adapting international content for French audiences. Specialist in terminology, glossaries, editorial guidelines, and linguistic consistency across platforms.

Esther spent several years in France and Luxembourg for work and study, and has since returned to her native London. She has a strong languages background, having studied for degrees in French & Linguistics and Translation & Interpreting. She went on to pursue a career in the Language Services industry, where she gained PM, technology and management experience before joining the Slator team.
