LSP Veteran Greg Brink joins TransPerfect

Language industry veteran Greg Brink is now the Minneapolis-based Director of Business Development at TransPerfect. The former Vice President of Sales at Merrill Brink International brings 28 years of experience to his new position.

Brink has been active in the language services market since 1987 when he co-founded his own language services provider, P.H. Brink International. In 2005, this company was later acquired by Merrill Corporation, a communications and document services provider, under undisclosed terms. The combined entity integrated P.H. Brink’s clients and was renamed Merrill Brink International, where Brink served as Vice President.

Brink has also held key positions in BGS euroscript as Senior Vice President of Sales, Strategic Planning, and Business Development as well as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Brink Global Solutions.

Greg Brink’s joining comes as the latest of TransPerfect’s recent strings of news pertaining to its continued growth, with clients such as San Francisco-based national dental insurance company Dentegra and consumer electronics manufacturer Casio making use of the company’s GlobalLink platform for various translation needs.

TransPerfect appears to continue its steady growth despite issues currently racking its top management, culminating in a recent court ruling regarding a potential sale of the company, which has a lot of industry insiders talking.
