Smith also highlighted the complementary nature of inWhatLanguage’s offering, pointing out the company’s range and services, which “enhances our offering in verticals such as eLearning.”
inWhatLanguage has also developed proprietary translation management technology, which it refers to as its “Language Management Experience (LMX) suite.” Moving forward, Trustpoint.One “will be looking to utilize inWhatLanguage’s LMX technology across the group and thereby adding efficiencies internally and for our customers,” Smith said.

Founded in 2011, inWhatLanguage is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company featured in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held US companies from 2018-2020. Meanwhile Trustpoint.One was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It has 10 offices across the US including in New York, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas.
Trustpoint.One’s previous acquisitions include Confluent Translations in 2018 and Commit Global in 2022.
Trustpoint.One plans to retain the inWhatLanguage name, with Smith confirming that “inWhatLanguage will continue to trade as its own brand within the group.” He added, “[it] will benefit from some synergies as being part of a larger organization.”
Smith declined to share any financial information relating to the acquisition or revenues for either company, but gave an early update on 2023 trading. According to him, “So far this year performance has been on track, with some services performing well and the usual seasonal lag in some sectors.” Overall, “the forecast for 2023 is very promising,” he said.
